Wow classic world buffs
The Chronoboon Displacer will change the way you use World Buffs in WoW Classic
It’s official — WoW Classic is moving away from being a re-creation of original World of Warcraft and into brand-new territory, even on Classic Era servers. It’s understandable, but it’s still a big change, and one that did not exist in original WoW — a move that I wondered if we’d see a year or so ago. Advocate then, I wondered if altering Alterac Valley in WoW Classic would open the floodgates for more changes, and now, with the introduction of the Chronoboon Displacer, it’s clear to me that WoW Classic is not a recreation of original WoW any longer. That status quo has been abandoned forever.
The reason for it is one I find interesting and quite well explained in the forum post by developer Pazorax. If you played WoW back in the day, you’ll remember trying to juggle all the various buffs you could accumulate, prefer Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer or the two hour Dire Maul buffs for doing a Tribute Run without killing the guards. As Pazorax points out, the way these buffs labor, once you’ve managed to acquire them on your character the ticking clock begins and you may end up wasting precious buf
WoW Classic Season of Discovery World Buffs
Like original Classic, World Buffs are likely to play a massive part in the Season of Discovery. All three of the new raid instances, Blackfathom Deeps, Gnomeregan, and Sunken Temple include a unique World Buff to bolster your characters power. Listed below we have compiled a list of the most common and useful World Buffs you will be able to take advantage of during your time in Season of Discovery.
Might of Stormwind and Warchiefs Blessing
Might of Stormwind and Warchief's Blessing are Alliance and Horde versions of the same buff and are exclusive to their respective factions. This buff increases hitpoints by 300. 15% haste to melee attacks. 10 mana regen every 5 seconds. For Horde Players, this buff is applied to anyone inside of Orgrimmar when someone completes the Head of Rend Blackhand quest which comes as a part of a quest chain starting with Warlord's Command. As Alliance it will benefit anyone in Stormwind when the quest End of the Dark Horde quest is completed by any player.
Songflower Serenade increases the chance for a melee, ranged, or spell critical by 5% and all attributes by 15 for 1 hour. This is unlocked by c
(Classic Era) Proposal for Repeatable World Buffs
Frostiwarr-whitemane1
We are approaching four years of Era, and with the release of Fresh and smaller population, world buffs are becoming harder to find. I am proposing repeatable world buffs. The timeframe, I don’t really know. 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months? For the people who have chosen to remain on Era, it will ensure the longevity of the server. Options would be that you keep the head and it goes on a cooldown (not my preferred), or you can obtain a new head/heart every month/3 months and hand in again (preferred). No second/third item necessary, but I guess that’d also be a nice bonus? But the buff is the important thing.
Counters:
“Level another character”. Yes, I agree, I have 8 60s, and working on more all the time. However leveling characters solely for buff drops isn’t really fun gameplay.
“Give back Might of Stormwind”. This would help with that particular buff, but Hearts and Heads are also becoming scarcer and scarcer.
“No changes”. Technically, we’re not changing anything - just giving the ability to repeat a quest.
Thanks for reading. Also, yearly scourge invasions in Era, while we’re at it,
Remove World Buffs from Classic

World buffs are killing the game and joy. What is the point of walking around the map and trying to collect 4x - 5x world buffs ? Yes, you can claim if you don’t want you don’t have to collect but you are definetly wrong. Most of the raid leaders that i encountered demands world buffs to accept you in their groups. As a solo player, getting all world buffs is almost an impossible job. Geting all buffs can be only done with dedicated raid members who are raiding all instances each week.
Why i am forced by blizzard to travel STV, and wait there for hours in the hope of someone returns Hearth of hakkar ? After that, i need to go back to stormwind and i should wait for someone to return Head ? How this thing helping solo players ?
The problem, raid leaders on classic have no idea about this game. They are untalanted old people and playing classic wow because they cannot Mythic / Heroic raid in retail. They think everyone in their raid group as untalented as they are and so they force people to get world buffs for smooth runs. What is the point of raiding if world buffs putting more than player’s current gear ? What is the p

What Are “World Buffs” And Why Gather Them?
World buffs are very powerful buffs which you can gather in several zones of Azeroth. You do not need these buffs to be able to beat any of the content in vanilla by any means but it will strengthen your raid immensely.
In vanilla WoW, class mechanics aren’t that hard to master, instead gear optimization and world buffs are what will make you stand out from the rest. So it’ll definitely be ideal to gather all of these world buffs if you’re stuck on a boss fight or if you want to compete on the TPS/DPS/HPS meters.
One last thing. If you’re a main tank then I cannot recommend you enough to gather these world buffs for every single raid as it will strengthen your entire raid ridiculously much, far far more than if anyone else would be gathering them.
