All Weapons in Monster Hunter World Ranked
There are 14 different weapon types in Monster Hunter World and options like the Greatsword and the Lightbowgun that stand out in any hunt. But other weapons have some unique qualities that make them a great choice in a group or for the average player. This list will rank the weapons from best to worst in an average sense.
MHW Weapon Tier List:
- S-Tier: Great Sword, Light Bowgun, Dual Blades.
- A-Tier: Long Sword, Bow, Heavy Bowgun, Charge Blade, Hammer.
- B-Tier: Hunting Horn, Sword & Shield, Insect Glaive, Switch Axe.
- C-Tier: Gun Lance, Lance.
No D-Tier is needed for this list because none of the weapons in Monster Hunter World are truly horrible.
