World's 'ugliest woman' Julia Pastrana buried 153 years on
An indigenous woman exhibited in 19th-Century Europe as the "world's ugliest woman" has been buried in her native Mexico some 150 years after her death.
Julia Pastrana, who suffered from a genetic condition that covered her face in hair, performed in circuses as a freak of nature.
After she died in 1860, her American husband toured with her embalmed body, which ended up in Norway.
Her remains were returned this week for a proper burial, after a long campaign.
People flocked to the town of Sinaloa de Leyva on Tuesday where Julia Pastrana was laid to rest in a white coffin adorned with white roses.
"Imagine the aggression and cruelty of humankind she had to face, and how she overcame it. It's a very dignified story," said Sinaloa Governor Mario Lopez.
"A human being should not be the object of anyone," Father Jaime Reyes Retana told mourners.

Julia Pastrana, who was born in 1834, suffered from hypertrichosis, external which covered her face in hair and had a jutting jaw.

When my colleague at the animal shelter called me to meet a dog that had just been brought in, I couldn’t believe what I was looking at. It was about 10 years ago, and a man had come in saying he’d found three dogs and couldn’t keep them. I wondered if I was on Candid Camera: I’d worked at the shelter as a vet for 20 years, and had seen thousands of animals, but never anything like this.
As he walked them towards the shelter, someone said, “He’s meant to be bringing three dogs, but that one’s a pig or something.” Quasi Modo, as I later named her, was around a year old and had a birth defect called short spine syndrome: everything fused together in her back and she couldn’t move her head. The Blood Elves are the Tall Elves, they are the extension of their society and traditions and they maintain their government and lands. The “Quel’dorei” that don’t consider themselves Blood Elves are just people that betrayed their kin and country for selfish reasons. They try to call themselves “High Elves” to mask their shameful behavior, which is clearly a clever homage to real world politics where doing something similar is a popular tactic in terrorist cells and splinter groups.

Kul’tiran.
It’s so hideous, and honestly makes me frustrated. If they wanted to go with a vast stalky race of humans, they could’ve at least taken the physique of the vykrul and improved upon them. There’s plenty of actually appealing bulky physiques out there for larger folks and Kul’tirans just seem fond some odd creation to me.
As someone brought up below, there’s even Reinhardt and Zaria’s physiques as bulky basics. I just have no idea what the art team was thinking when they thoug

Been thinking of making a new toon and found so much discrepancy between different races in terms of customization and appearance. I think that the worst offenders of this are
Dracthyr - despite all the bells and whistles in customization, your lizard with wings looks awful. Also having almost 0 transmog options on top of working with barber for any meaningful changes makes it the worst race imo.
Male Nightborne- these dudes straight up look like they just pooped their pants. Also why are their legs so thin? I think undead look thicc by comparison.
female worgen - this thing is just a thing of nightmares and not in a good way.

Dracthyr are not really ugly ,oh blizzard could have made them terrifying .
Male Nightborne-
Did you know in legend nightborn and night elves used the same model ,no one ever noticed. So if one said they were ugly as a race then night elves were too.
