| I played a Savage Worlds Star Wars game ten or more years ago.
Savage Worlds is not my thing. I really dislike the system, and I feel like I'm the only one in the world who doesn't like it. _________________ "The internet is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural." - Sheev Zuckerberg |

| Not having played the system before, what made you not like it? _________________ The best vi Star Wars & Savage WorldsIt's humorous you bring this up, @ Scrivener of Doom. I've been essence to run a Savage Luminary Wars campaign for oh, maybe 4 years now and possess never gotten around to it, so I don't have any direct experience with it....... But everything else I've done with the system so far (classic fantasy, modern zombie apocalypse, near-future cyberpunk) leads me to believe that Savage Worlds would make a fantastic foundation for a Celebrity Wars campaign. In fact, if you're wanting more of an "Edge of the Empire" / Smuggler style game, Savage Worlds will be freaking brilliant right out of the gate. There's really only two things I could foresee being a bit of work up front: - If you need to do lots of spaceship combat. You'll need to slouch down and come up with specific vehicle stats for most of the common "stuff"---an X-wing, a landspeeder, a speederbike, a TIE fighter, a Corellian freighter, etc. I also don't possess any idea the best way to do "dogfights" with Savage Worlds Deluxe. Would it perform as a simple "chase" scene? For resources, check out the fan-made Star Wars Conversion, and the PEG supplement Vehicle Conversio
IMPORTANT: This game requires the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition Core Book.
You may also find the Planetary Guide the Time of the Old Republic the GM Screenby Daremo Publishing and the Spirit of Rebellion (By Table Cat Games) to be useful as well. Star Wars is owned by Disney. This book is made available as a fan made, free, labor of love. The Savage Worlds Star Wars Companion is designed to provide you with the information you need to run Star Wars, using the Savage Worlds System. Highlights: - New Edges and Hindrances
- Gear
- Vehicles
- Stats for NPCs
- And more!

DownloadDevelopment logView all posts Announcing Star Wars: Spirit of RebellionWe’re excited to officially announce that Table Cat Games is working on a Star Wars role playing game expansion to the excellent Savage Worlds Star Wars Companion called The Spirit of Rebellion. It will be 100% completely free and available for any Star Wars fan that wants it (using the Savage Worlds Fan license). What’s that mean? The Star Wars Companion contains a lot of necessary info you need to play in the Star Wars universe using the Savage Worlds rule system, but there’s some stuff that I wanted to see that wasn’t in there along with some tweaks needed to play in my favorite era (the original trilogy). So what I’m doing is that you’d get Savage Worlds, The Star Wars Companion, and then use Spirit of Rebellion to theme your campaign. And while I was at it, I figured I’d expand it a bit further to include The Dark Times which was features in Solo, the Rebels cartoon series, Rogue One, Andor, and the Obi Wan series. Then while doing that, I figured I could also throw in the New Republic timeline which is being revealed in the series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett,
Savaged Star Wars Stats & Adventure ConversionsHi all. I was wondering whether any of you Savages out there know of some sites/downloads of where I can get some Star Wars ship, NPC and creature stats, or even better, module/adventure conversions. I have seen the many 'Star Wars Conversions', but all of them focus on PC creation and The Force. (I have mine of choice, but have done most species conversions myself). What I need are ship stats (one conversion has some old ones), NPC stats (especially Storm Troopers, battle droids, typical enemies), or even full adventure conversions. (Creatures aren't so bad - plenty of fantasy egs to base them on, but starfighters are the real difficulty - no real comparison for vehicles of these speeds or with these type of weapons in the several Setting or Core Savage books I own). I have copies of many of the Wizards PDF Star Wars adventures, a few WEG d6 adventures (one of which I love and have ran too many times ), and a few homebrews from the web from when Saga came out. In fact I intend to start with a homebrew I believe I found on these boards: "A Much Larger Galaxy", by David Bezio (grubman). I love Saga, but want to us
