All About Carl Azuz
Lots of West Middle School students know and love Carl Azuz from CNN10 by watching it in 7th-grade social studies, but all these times you’ve watched him, do you even know him?
Childhood
Carl Azuz was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 14th, 1989. As a kid, Azuz enjoyed reading. He was a teacher’s pet throughout his schooling. Being a teacher’s pet caused Azuz to have enemies. Azuz’s family always knew that Carl would be a public figure because he was always so giddy and talkative (Celebsolino).
Work-Life
Azuz decided to pursue college at the University of Georgia. Azuz studied and got his bachelor’s degree in telecommunications arts production. Once he got out of college, he worked as a writer and associate producer for CNN International, but his reports have appeared on every CNN platform. Carl eventually moved to be an anchor for CNN10, a 10-minute news program that is targeted for middle schoolers. Azuz is also a contributor to his broadcasting networks newsroom (CNN10).

Sources have not confirmed but are fairly certain that Carl Azuz is married or in a relationship with a girl named Kenzi Anne. Azuz also says

About Carl Azuz:
A veteran of presenting news to students, Carl Azuz is the host and executive producer of The World from A to Z, a non-partisan news show that streams daily at WorldAtoZ.org and at YouTube.com/@TheWorldAtoZ. The fast-paced program covers current and historic events from across the globe, and it’s ‘pun’ctuated by Carl’s signature wordplay and personable delivery. What Happened to Carl Azuz?
The longtime host of CNN 10, Carl Azuz, seemingly has disappeared from the show. When CNN 10 started airing again for college on September 12, viewers were surprised not to see Azuz. His place as the show’s anchor has been taken by Coy Wire.
Azuz was beloved by many students across the land including some here at Craig High School. He found ways to entertain students through a ten-minute video of daily news, hence the name CNN 10. Teachers find time out of their instructional lessons to compete these ten minute news videos for their students. The program is the perfect way for young students to follow the news and stay up to date with the world.
Azuz is most remembered by students for his always fun puns and his slogan, “Fridays are awesome.” Azuz has covered everything for students, from the war in Iraq to the most overpriced ice cream sundae. Students recognize the show will never be the same without the likes of Azuz. His lighthearted approach to reporting will be missed by students. Without his presence, many viewers worry that the show may lose the value and standards that Azuz place for the program.
When questioned about Azuz’s departure, CNN stated
Carl Azuz: An Icon
If you’ve ever seen CNN 10/CNN Student News, you’re probably familiar with Carl Azuz. The popular news anchor graduated University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications. In 2008 he began reporting for CNN Student News- a 10 minute news segment intended for students. In addition to producing and reporting on CNN 10, he also appears on CNN Newsroom giving in depth explanations on a wide range of topics, including the U.S. debt limit and the cost of college. Carl is very private with his personal life, even his age is a mystery (Carl did not respond to my tweet asking him his age). The website http://wikinetworth.com suggests that he was born in 1989, making him 28 years old. However, he appears to be mid forties. Outside of work Carl speaks at various events across the country including national conventions, workshops, charity events, and graduation ceremonies.
