Zeldas art world custom framersfull line of art supplies
If I had to choose one word to guide the next phase of my business—and honestly, my life—it would be: simplify.
I’ve long had a goal to streamline how I work. And I’ve made real progress. But like many of you, I still find myself getting pulled into new ideas, projects, and “what-ifs” that feel urgent in the moment but turn out to be costly distractions in the long run. I’m actively working to trim things back. And I’ve found that with every layer of complexity I remove, things get clearer, more focused—and more profitable.
The same principle applies to your art practice. If your studio life feels scattered, it might be time to simplify—not to produce less, but to scale up the parts that actually matter.
Why Simplicity Drives Success
When you cut out clutter—physical, mental, logistical—you create space. Space to think, to create, to finish what you start. Space to double down on what’s working and drop what isn’t.
Simplifying your art business doesn’t mean making it smaller. It means making it sharper. It means focusing your limited time and energy where they’ll have the most impact.

Zelda's Art World
ABOUT US
The art school at Zelda's Art World is one of the longest-running art instruction programs in Brooklyn, teaching art to children and adults for more than 30 years. Our courses are designed to accommodate artists of every age, from 3 to 103, beginner to advanced.
OUR MISSION
We have always believed that artistic expression is vital to the success and happiness of every individual, whether art is to you a curiosity, your hobby, or your life. Art motivates, provides therapy, promotes independence, and inspires collaboration. Over the years we've seen the positive effect art education has on thousands of young children (and adults!), and it's the reason why we're still here.
ZAW wants to give our students something more than a finished painting.
Our goal is simple: to equip our students with real art knowledge and techniques, and give them the confidence to explore their creativity outside of the classroom.
We’re passionate about art and want to share that with Brooklyn.
Zelda's Art World is a space where neighbors can come for all their creative needs.

Leave us a Review: I brought in 2 items to fixed and reframe … made these orders items look beautiful and almost brand new.
Always a warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff experience at Zeldas Art World. Especially with Jeff the proprietor who displays respect and patience with any customer who comes through their door.
Zelda’s Art World frames and products are built with impeccable artistry and craftsmanship. The owners have infused their talent and warmth into this magical space. This is one of the few stores left that have the authenticity, quality and care of a mom and pops establishment. I cannot recommend this place enough! Go visit!
We’re on the second generation of art class students at ZAW. My daughter has been improving her painting skills over the past few years thanks to the patient instructors, and we love hanging up her paintings in our home (after framing them at Zelda’s). There’s a great selection of classes and new services such as pottery, and the framing department has a huge selection including affordable and upscale options. We love this neighborhood fixture!
