Welcome to OLD MAPS AND POSTERS by OldCityPrints®, a specialty print shop with a focus on making fine print reproductions of antique maps, printed on 100% cotton acid-free fine art papers with archival pigment inks. We're dedicated to the art of printmaking and every item we print is made only of the highest quality materials.
This shop is a happy combination of three of our passions: maps, history, and prints on paper. We love old maps because they are truly windows onto history, showing paths of exploration, scientific discovery, developing and changing societies, and more. They also connect us to the places that are most important to us: our towns, our ancestry, and our common heritage. Plus, many of them are beautiful works of art in their own right.
All of the images we print have been lovingly restored to their original shine, and we make all of the prints on a large-format digital fine art printer using archival pigment inks and 100% cotton matte fine art papers.

Antique World Map
Hang your map in style with this quality black wooden frame. The frame is made from wood composite, and the print is protected with plexiglass. The wooden frames are approximately 3/4” wide and 1/2” deep.
Pinboard with wood frame - this map is mounted on Gator Board foam board, then placed in a black or white wooden frame. The frame is made from wood composite and is approximately 3/4” wide and 1/2” deep. If you choose this option the frame does not come with plexiglass to allow thumbtacks to be used with the pinboard.
Laminated, pinboard mounted with wood frame - this map is laminated, mounted on Gator Board foam board, then placed in a black or white wooden frame. The frame is made from wood composite and is approximately 3/4” wide and 1/2” deep. If you choose this option the frame does not come with plexiglass to allow thumbtacks to be used with the pinboard.
Ready to be hung on the wall, all framed maps will be supplied with a hanging kit.

This guy does amazing work! I ordered a 28x40 Wildlife & Game Map of the United States from 1956. There are a lot of small details (small animals and text) that I was worried might not print well, but the final product was astounding. The print is high quality and the small text is perfectly legible. Absolutely recommend if you're looking for quality prints.
